Mo’s Grill is Back!
This weekend, Angela (from Angela’s Cafe and Bakery in Denison) will be featuring her famous CHOCOLATE COBBLER and HOMEMADE BREAD PUDDING on the menu! Get in and get some, while supplies last!
Hours at Mo’s Grill will be:
Friday: 4:00 – 11:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am – 11:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am (breakfast!) – 6:00 pm
Mo’s Grill will once again be located in the east end of the administration building and will also be serving a full menu of burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, soups and salads, featuring several of Mo’s favorites, including:
- Grilled Chicken
- Catfish
- Fried Shrimp
- Steak Fingers
- Chicken Strips
PLEASE NOTE: For now, alcohol service is BYOB, although we will be selling setups! We will notify members as soon as we are able to sell alcohol at Mo’s Grill.
The Island has closed for the off-season – so come out and see what Mo’s Grill has in store for you!
Safety Reminder – Firearms, Explosives, Fireworks, Etc.
It is against the Army Corps of Engineers’ Rules and Regulations to possess or use firearms and other weapons on Corps property.
Below is an excerpt from Title 36 of the Rules and Regulations for your review. If there are any questions at all about this rule, please contact the marina.
327.13 Explosives, firearms, other weapons and fireworks.
(a) The possession of loaded firearms, ammunition, loaded projectile firing devices, bows and arrows, crossbows, or other weapons is prohibited unless:
(1) In the possession of a Federal, state or local law enforcement officer;
(2) Being used for hunting or fishing as permitted under 327.8, with devices being unloaded when transported to, from or between hunting and fishing sites;
(3) Being used at authorized shooting ranges; or
(4) Written permission has been received from the District Commander.
(b) Possession of explosives or explosive devices of any kind, including fireworks or other pyrotechnics, is prohibited.
