E Dock metal and roof work is complete and repair work is underway on L Dock.The N2 gangway work is also complete and we are currently working on the N1 gangway.Work has begun on Marina lighting, starting with B Dock. We will work from B Dock all the way around the marina to ensure uniform lighting around the shoreline.The marina painting project is half-way complete and we’ve started painting the exterior of the Island Bar & Grill.
Concrete work will begin by March 1, and we will then focus on removing two of our underground tanks. The fuel system is expected to be completed and in place by the end of April!
We’ve completed the design of the new breakwater system for the entrance to the marina. This new system will provide a full 1,000 feet of new breakwater to protect our harbor. It will be positioned further out toward the no-wake zone. Fabrication will be done predominantly off-site beginning May 1, and installation should be complete by early July.
Lastly, you’ll notice that we are re-positioning the porta-potties to the opposite side of the road, stationed with stakes for more uniformity and a neater presentation throughout the marina.
