IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE
This Week’s Improvements
We are focused this week on getting the temporary breakwater fix in place! We are also closing in on the work at the Island Bar & Grill, with an expected open date just in time for Customer Appreciation weekend. G Dock roofing repairs are being finished up this week, after which the crew will move on to repairs on the MarineMax office and Puerto del Sol.

SERVICE TIPS
Dockline Series – How To Use Docklines, Cont’d.
If you’re away from the boat much of the time, lines should be longer to allow for high water from storms and tides. Short lines are a prime cause of damage.
If you are adjusting lines from the dock, put the eye end of your dock lines around the cleat, bitt, etc. aboard ship.
Conversely, if you spend most of your time aboard, put the eye around the fitting or piling ashore and adjust from the boat. TideMinders™ are balls with holes in them through which you can string the piling end of your line so that the line will ride up and down on the piling with tides or storm surges. You may find them very helpful.
